Position: Marketing Manager

Job Description:


Dynamic and well established enterprise Software Company in the DC/Baltimore corridor serving the financial services, transaction processing and transaction content management segments is seeking a Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing and will be responsible for the administration of the company’s marketing programs, supporting multiple channels and verticals that are in line with the corporate branding and lead generation activities. Position will require interaction with numerous team members and external constituents, including customers and vendors.

This opportunity offers flexible office hours, ability to partially work from home as agreed, and will initially require little travel, approximately 20%. We assess people by results, and many employees work from home.

Working with Director of Strategic Marketing, job responsibilities will include:

  • development and execution of marketing campaigns
  • management of trade show related activities
  • assessment, development and management of the collateral library
  • assisting sales people in incorporating marketing material into sales presentations
  • working cooperatively in preparation for webinars

Desired Qualifications:


  • Excellent communication skills, including graphical means. Strong communication and copywriting skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required. Candidate must have at least 3+ years of B2B Marketing experience which includes tactical marketing execution experience. Desired candidate will have 5 years.
  • Previous experience marketing to financial services or working in the enterprise content management solutions industry preferred but not required. We’re looking for someone who can learn quickly.
  • Proven track-record of planning and executing successful demand generation campaigns with high ROI.
  • Must be able to think strategically and also be able to execute tactically.
  • Excellent organizational and program documentation and reporting skills.
  • Experience using CRM solutions to capture, track and report on leads.
  • Experience interacting with sales team, technology group and C level team members.
  • Prefer candidates with experience working in small, closely held software companies.
  • Very Proficient with MS Office and Adobe software applications.
  • Creative, innovative, resourceful and get-it-done results orientation.
  • Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment with competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with XHTML/CSS and social media is a plus.
